Our staff at WCL has over 30 years of experience when it comes to finding the right beverage choices for your event no matter what the size.  We'll work closely with you and wherever the event is being held to make sure your big day or night runs smoothly.  And you'll receive 20% off whatever wine is consumed at your function. 

Let us help you with picking the beer, wine, liquor, soda, water, mixers, champagne, glassware, bartending service, catering service, delivery and pickup, ice and buckets. 

We specialize in providing service for weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate functions, memorials, graduations, retirements, wine tastings in your home, book club nights, BBQ's, and more.

Gift Baskets and Ideas

Our in-house gift basket expert, Mary Ann can make a gift basket for any occasion.   Just know what your price range is (usually $50, $100, $150, $250, $500) and we'll custom design it for any theme (i.e. Holiday, Get Well, Wine Lovers, Beer Lovers, Scotch Lovers, Sports, etc) Then give us three days and we'll have it ready for pick-up or delivery.

*Someone over 21 must accept the delivery. 

Private and Corporate Wine Tastings

No charge for us to come to your home, business or wherever you would like to have a wine, cheese or beer tasting.  We can accommodate any size crowd with a serious wine tasting (vertical, horizontal, or blind) or the more laid-back version where we pour the wine and rattle off a few tid-bits about the wines when guests come to fill their glasses while they mingle. 

Some ideas:

Usually the tasting portion of the event will last about an hour if it's an official tasting.  If it's just mingling and us giving tidbits about the wines when people walk up to the bar area, we will stay as long as needed. Depending on the size of the crowd, it's reasonable to pour about 5-7 different wines.  Too many wines and the guests may get overwhelmed and some wines will be overlooked.  For budget planning, you can expect to open at least one or two bottles of each wine being tasted plus whatever wine will be drunk during the event after the tasting.   We will work with you to find wines that fit your budget.

2005 Commanderie Du Bardelet

You may have heard that the 2005 vintage from Bordeaux is being hailed as one of the best ever.  We were able to secure a good amount of what we have found to be the best bang for your buck of the vintage. Currently our number one selling wine from Bordeaux, I have two cases of the 2005 Commanderie du Bardelet sitting in my basement. I think it can be drunk now or in five years.  We purchased half of the inventory that our supplier had left in stock.  This wine is more of a new world Bordeaux (approachable at a young age, fruit forward and smooth) but still has plenty of that old world charm.  Right now it's pefectly drinkable, with big tannins balanced by mouth watering acidity and delicious fruit flavor.  And it's because of that tannin and acidity that I think this wine has the potential to age beautifully. 

Though the Commanderie du Bardelet did win one award: "Gold Medal - Medal d'Or, Concours de Grands Vins de France, Mâcon 2006," it sort of fell under the radar with the US critics. Hopefully that's what kept the price down.  The only professional review I was able to find was from a German reviewer named Golo Weber. Here it is (translated by google):

"In glass, this wine shines a ruby red. An extremely delicate bouquet is revealed, despite it's youth it already has an aromatic bounty of cassis, blackberry and plum, with the subtle floral notes and hints of provencial cuisine. Classic Bordeaux from this great vintage, equipped with a powerful body and a strong skeleton, which shows it's potential. After prolonged decanting it's beautiful fruit phase can be enjoyed.  The drinking maturity of a fine wine vinified such as this is probably from 2010 to 2016, WF 97 + / 100 "
